Memory-Building Fun: Disappearing Dinner Table Game

by | Apr 9, 2020 | Critical Thinking

This activity develops your child’s visual memory.

What you need:

5 to 10 different objects – just grab what’s nearby.

How to play:

  1. Set the table or area with five objects.
  2. Have your child look closely at the table and then tell them to close their eyes.
  3. Take something away!
  4. Have your child open their eyes and tell you what’s missing.

If you have time:

Swap roles with your child and have them hide objects from you, too.
